Stay overnight in the boathouse of the captain of Harderwijk from our story. This is the place where he went ashore forever. There he renovated an old boathouse into the luxurious place it is today. A beautiful place to rest, enjoy the surroundings, surrounded by the beloved water.

The maritime style interior is reminiscent of Harderwijk's history and its location on the water. From the tall windows you have a view of the water and the Waterfront Project from the entire loft. In summer you can enjoy the sun on the balcony, be active on the water with the kayaks, sailing or standup paddling. On cold days, after an active day in the city, you can retreat to the electric fireplace in the lounge or enjoy a hot sunshower or steam room. This place exudes a love of boating and maritime life. Are you coming with your own boat? Then you can keep it safe and secure in the boathouse.

    Our American fridge ensures that your food and drinks can always be kept at the right temperature and has a built-in ice cube machine.

  • Sunshower

    The Sunshower is equipped with infrared lamps and UV waves, which provide relaxed muscles and the production of vitamin D. This makes showering a real wellness experience!

  • Unique stay

    The loft is located directly on the water. It is therefore wonderful to enjoy the hammock on the balcony with glass balustrade, where you can watch the passing boats!

  • Parking

    Whether you arrive by land or water. We have parking facilities for both modes of transport. You can park your car in front of the house and moor your boat in the boathouse.

Kayaking

Be active and discover the surroundings in an original and sporty way. At the loft you can get directly into the kayak (we have two kayaks for two people), from which you can paddle along the beautiful promenade and through the renovated canals.

The city of Harderwijk is bustling with life! The trade of the past has given way to cozy stores. When the weather is nice, terraces line the characteristic Vischmarkt (Fish market), where you can enjoy a good glass of wine or delicious food.
